Overview
Psiroc 1 is a versatile 64-channel front-end ASIC designed for reading out PIN diodes, silicon strips, and GEM detectors, catering to a wide range of detector capacitances from 0 to several hundred pF. It features precise triggering capabilities down to 0.5 fC for detectors with capacitances below 20pF, along with dual-gain energy measurement that ensures an excellent Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR over 10 for 0.5 fC) on high gain and extensive dynamic range on low gain. Psiroc also supports channel-wise Time-over-Threshold (ToT) output for signals exceeding a few pC.
