Position: Junior Software Developer (2)
Location: Viareggio (LU) Italy

We seek a Junior Software Developer, to develop applications and data acquisition software that controls and manage our devices. The candidate will join CAEN’s Software Development Team.
1. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Developing, testing, and continuous integration
- Work cross-functionally to enhance overall user experience of our software products
2. Qualifications:
- Graduate in Physics
- Excellent knowledge of C/C++, Java, Python languages
- Good knowledge of Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Netbeans and Eclipse
- Good knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- English language (written and spoken)
- Available to international travels
3. Preferential Requirements:
- Italian as a mother language
- Basic understandings of version control: GIT
- Familiarity with Qt libraries
- Good knowledge of CERN ROOT and EPICS
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Great attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- An analytical mind
