In recent years CAEN opened the doors of its <strong>R&amp;D</strong> to the <strong>Open FPGA</strong> technology, which is becoming more and more widely used and required. In addition, we decided to invest many resources in order to make this technology accessible to everyone. These efforts result in innovative <a href="https://www.caen.it/families/open-fpga-digitizers/">Programmable Digitizer families</a> and the <a href="https://www.caen.it/products/sci-compiler/">SCI-Compiler software</a> for <strong>easy-programming of the Open FPGA</strong> simplifying firmware writing with a block-based visual programming language.</p>

The sensibility of modern detectors, in fact, make them susceptible to any even small variation in the power supply, and so features like low Noise, low Ripple and high stability become essential in the design of a performing power supply system. Strong of 40 years of collaboration with the most important research labs worldwide CAEN offers today sophisticated High Voltage Power Supply and Low Voltage Power Supply Systems. The demonstration of this successful long-standing tradition is the "<strong>CMS Crystal Award 2009</strong>" that CAEN received for the development and production of the power system for the <a href="https://cms.cern/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CMS</a> tracker. CAEN offers a wide selection of Power Supplies in different form factors and standards:</p>
<ul>

A new series of instruments in the field of Environmental Monitoring, Homeland Security and Material Science are under development and CAEN is confident about its capability to provide Top-of-the-Line Instruments.</p>
<p align="justify">The first instruments developed combine the best CAEN capabilities: high performance Digitizers, on-board Digital Pulse Processing and state-of-the-art High Voltage Power Supplies, giving rise to a powerful yet compact family of products for <b>Digital Nuclear Spectroscopy</b>.</p>
