The A1494 RTC Test-Bed board is a development equipment dedicated to the SpW RTC ASIC (AT7913E). The module offers on board, besides the socket assigned to house the AT7913E, the devices and the peripheral ports needed to exercise all the RTC ASIC functionalities. In addition, a 100 poles connector is housed on the test bed to host a mezzanine daughter board (85 x°123°mm2 size).
The A1494 board can be connected to CAN or SpW devices through CAN and SpW cables. The RTC test-bed is provided with the standard serial (UART) connector to be directly connected to a Linux PC in order to be controlled by a friendly computer interface.
A parallel cable can be used for the General Purpose I/O test connecting it the additional connector provided on the PCI-SPW/CAN module.
All the A1494 interfaces may be directly connected to the companion PCI-SpW/CAN A1493 board or to any other third part network interfaces compliant with the SpW, CAN, UART communication protocols.
